What Other Resources Are Available to Angel Flight Central Passengers?

Angel Flight Central provides free air transportation to help people reach medical care, but we know a flight is only one part of what a patient or family needs. That’s why we also share additional resources for medical travel, lodging, ground transportation, patient support, and other needs that may come up along the way.

We’ve gotten to know a number of organizations that help patients and families in different ways. From these relationships, we have created a Resources page on our website. It’s a place to find other organizations that may be able to help with needs beyond what we provide!

And not every kind of support is about transportation, lodging, or getting from one place to another. Sometimes, what someone needs is something more personal, a reminder that they’re being thought of and cared for along the way.

Songs of Love Foundation is a great resource for passengers who are looking for more of this kind of help!

Since 1995, Songs of Love has created personalized songs for children, teens, and seniors facing medical, physical, or emotional challenges. Each song is made just for the person receiving it, using things like their name, favorite hobbies, family members, pets, favorite music, and other little details that make them who they are.

It’s a different kind of resource than a flight or a hotel room, but that’s why we wanted to share it. Support can look a lot of different ways, and sometimes something personal as a song, can bring a little encouragement during a difficult season.
