How Do I Apply for a Flight with Angel Flight Central?
Need to travel for medical care? Angel Flight Central provides free flights for passengers traveling to medical care, and applying is the first step toward seeing if we can help!
How do I apply?
If you are interested in requesting a flight with Angel Flight Central, you can submit a flight request through our online application:
When applying, there are a few things to keep in mind:
Plan ahead. Flight requests should be submitted at least 7–10 business days before travel. Our team needs time to review the request, coordinate the details and work to find an available flight option. The more notice you can provide, the better.
Passengers must be medically stable. Angel Flight Central provides non-emergency transportation. Passengers need to be medically stable enough to travel without medical staff accompanying them during the flight.
Passengers need to be able to travel independently. For our volunteer pilot flights, passengers must be ambulatory and able to get into and out of a small aircraft with minimal assistance.
Have your medical information ready. The application will ask for information about your medical care and travel needs so our team can determine whether the trip is a good fit for our services.
Travel details matter. Be prepared to provide your appointment or treatment dates, departure and destination locations, and any companion or luggage information that may apply to your trip.
Every request is reviewed individually, and submitting an application does not guarantee that a flight will be available. Our team will work with you throughout the process and let you know what options may be available.
