TJ’s Bar & Grill in Pevely Missouri, Honors Angel Flight  with Fund Raiser
Angel flight would like to congratulate TJ’s Bar & Grill, in Pevely Missouri, for a fund raiser event that was held on May 5th & 6th.   Owner Sue Sharp, along with friend Sarah Penberthy, presented the check to Angel Flight on May 17th.  We would like to thank TJ’s and all those who participated in the event.  Also, thanks to Paul Karasek, who donated a flight that was auctioned off.  Angel Flight was chosen on behalf of Chloe, a infant that was transported by us and is doing very well as you can see in the picture.

2007 Midwest Aviation Conference and Trade Show at SLU Student Center
I would like to thank Bob Zeitinger, Ken Green, and Jim Alseth for helping with the Angel Flight booth display at the Midwest Aviation Conference and Trade Show on January 19th and 20th. We received several pilot applications, and the interest was very good. A special thanks to Bryan Browne & his wife for coming out Thursday evening to help set up the display. 

 

Gateway CFC Kickoff
A special thanks to volunteer pilot Terrill Allies for representing Angel Flight at the Gateway CFC Kickoff at Scott Air Force Base on October 6. Terrill is currently in the military and it was much easier for him to get onto Scott Air Force Base.

2005 Plane Pull
This years Plane Pull event was held on October 1st at Spirit Airport and was accompanied by perfect weather. We had a few rookie pullers on the rope this year, accompanied by several veteran pullers. Angel Flight pulled in two events. The first event was for the fastest time, which we ended up....well....lets just say we will do better next year. However, we came in 6th place for the lightest weight pull. We improved from last years lightest weight pull. We were able to pull the aircraft with a combined weight that was 350 lbs lighter than last year.

Bill has sponsored us for the past 3 years and has paid our very expensive registration fee. Thank you Bill. Also, a big thanks to Rod Smerkar for being our official photographer. The winner of the drawing for the Angel Flight pilot bear was Hank Muehlemkamp.
