Local Contributors and Sponsors

The following individuals and companies support our Wing in ways other than volunteering their time.

A special thanks to volunteer pilot Bob Zeitinger for his work in obtaining a donation from his local Church, which held a golf tournament with the proceeds going to Angel Flight. Sixty-four golfers from St. Lucas United Church of Christ, St. Louis County, MO., played golf to commemorate their church's founding 125 years ago and in the process contributed more than $7,200 for Angel Flight Central. Golf tournament committee members presented the money to AFC pilot and church member Bob Zeitinger on a recent Sunday. Committee members, left to right, are Richard Taylor, committee chair Kent Glovanovitz, pilot Bob Zeitinger, Elaine Glovanovitz, and Julie Goode. The committee plans to hold another Angel Flight Golf Benefit next year.

On behalf of Angle Flight, the Spirit of St.Louis Wing would like to thank the St.Louis Regional Employment Relocation Council for their very generous donation. The ERC chose Angle Flight as one of their charitable organizations for this year's donation. I would personally like to thank the President of the ERC, Amy Coleman who was very instrumental in obtaining Angel Flight as one of this years organizations for which they made contributions. The ERC donation is greatly appreciated and will help to promote Angel Flight and its mission of providing free transportation for those with medical needs.

On behalf of Angle Flight, the Spirit of St.Louis Wing would like to thank the Welcome Wagon of St.Louis for their very generous donation. The Welcome Wagon chose Angle Flight as one of their organizations for this year's donation. I would personally like to thank Sharlaine Landwehr (President), Pat Stottlemeyer, Verna Crum, and all the ladies of Welcome Wagon for their efforts in raising these funds. I would also like to thank them for the luncheon I was invited to where I could share the mission of Angel Flight. The Welcome Wagon donation will help Angel Flight to continue with its mission of providing free transportation for those with medical needs.
