Donor Recognition

Angel Flight Central believes in saying “THANK YOU!” All commitments in support of any of our giving programs and special events are recognized in our Annual Report. And, any gifts valued at $300 or more are also published in our quarterly WINGSPAN newsletter.

The HEROES of the HEART Celebration

This is our annual regional event organized by the Board of Trustees and staff where donors and volunteers are recognized and united with some of the people they’ve supported throughout the year.

Financial and In-Kind Donors

Financial and In-Kind Donors are recognized in the WINGSPAN Annual Report within the fiscal year they donated:

(In the annual report we break each giving category out further to better recognize size of gifts. Also, the above categories parallel the giving categories being recognized in any of our comprehensive campaigns.)

Tailwind Society

This group is leaving a legacy by donating a deferred/planned gift (i.e. insurance policies, estate commitments, etc.) in any amount to Operations or the Legacy Trust. Once a commitment for a planned gift is received, the donor is recognized as a member of this society.

Golden Eagle Society

This group is comprised of people who have cumulatively:

• flown at least 100 missions
• volunteered at least 1,000 non-pilot hours
• pledged and/or given at least $100,000
• received the annual Golden Eagle Award

Golden Eagle Society - Platinum Member

Platinum Members of the Golden Eagle Society, in addition to meeting the criteria above, have also flown 400 or more AFC missions.
